It's finally spring!
If you drive down Welders Lane in April or May you are in for a delightful surprise.
Nature tells us it's time to wake up from the long winter with an exquisite show. This bluebell area is extra special. Not only is it easy to access and completely flat with no muddy paths but it has an extra sprinkling of magic. There are hidden fairy doors everywhere for children to find. It's also on private land so no one else will be there.
April days are unpredictable thanks to April showers, but the days of sunshine in between bring such joy. A crisp afternoon is the perfect time for a photoshoot here.
For this shoot I captured Zoë from the instagram account BucksDaysOut with her young family. Her daughter was just the right age to relish the ideas of fairies all around. She didn't want to leave the shoot. What a joy to give this experience to a child. And with photos to prove it she will always remember the day she met the fairies (I snuck a few into the gallery). She told her mum that she saw the fairies but it was a secret. Would you like to come see for yourself?
If you want a bluebell shoot make sure to block off a couple of late afternoons at the end of April and beginning of May in your calendar (because April showers!). And send me a message on the lets chat page.
And then you can start planning the perfect wardrobe for this vibrant, picturesque, English countryside location.
